Do you think all the skinny girls have the best picks when it comes to clothing/fashion? well think again.Its true that 65% of American women are overweight, according to the National Center for Health Statistics,but what they call overweight I call average weight.I also came to find that several fashion boutiques don't even stock clothes over a size 10! now whats up with that.Do they think that women over a size 10 suppose to dress like nuns.My opinion is that retailers needs to step there game up.Plus size women have style but the hopes of finding it is low.
I fill that plus size women have been ignored for to long when it comes to fashion,just think about it,the average man weights around 185 pounds and wears around a size 42 and is mainly accommodated when it comes to menswear by most retailers.The average women is around 160 pounds and rarely can find the best fashion trends in the right size.
We'll thanks to retailers like Lanebryant,Fashion Bug,Sonsi,Catherines,and Loop18 for recognizing the market potential when it comes to plus size fashion.To me these stores have recognize that plus size women love looking for shopping opportunity's to and since theses stores have emerged I see now that a lot of stores now are trying to cater to plus size women.I believe that were in the momentum phase when it comes to plus size fashion and full-figured collections are breaking its way into the department stores.I believe carrying sizes 2 to 20 should be standard at every department store.
